Buyer Evaluations
Updated note after 3 months of applying the robot: It could not move following 3 months. Having said that, the customer service was useful to help diagnose the dilemma and asked me to ship it to Dallas for repair. It expense me $18 to ship from Houston, and the robot was returned in 1 week beneath working condition. Thanks to its two-years warranty instead of 90-days. If there is one complain, it would be that they need to have a contracted repair service in each and every key metropolitan area, such as the 4th largest city, Houston. Mainly because of the repair, I reduce its rating from 5-star to 4-star.

I had used Polaris pool cleaners for years and identified it has the following disadvantages: high electric bill from operating a water pump little bag capacity with frequent cleaning frequent expenses for getting expensive replacement components or repairs and moderate durability (final about three years and then cannot be justified for repairing and forced to order a new model with a trade-in rebate).
Therefore, I switched to electrical pool robot which price substantial less by avoiding running a major water pump and has big bag capacity. In addition, it filters fine particles thru its bag and reduces the load and the frequency of cleaning pool filter compared to Polaris'.
I had tried three electrical pool robots: Aquabot Turbo T Intelligent Pool's Kleen Machine and Intelligent Pool's NC71 Nitro Wall Scrubber, by the sequence of usage.
I have employed a digital timer with photocell to automatically turn on/off the robots. The timer operates straight for the power supplies from Wise Pool. Even so, to make it run for Aquabot, you want to order a distinctive power provide (price about $150), but I got it free from the shop I bought.
I located there are some advantages and disadvantages of the three robots:
1. Aquabot Turbo T: This is the most expensive robot I used, expense about $1,300 like taxes. Its primary advantage is having huge bag capacity so that you do not will need to clean the bag as usually as Polaris'. It comes with two massive bags to filter completely different fineness particles. Its important disadvantage is durability: it operates for only about 18 months and will need a replacement of motor which would cost about $900. Thus, I decided to attempt the other robot.
2. Intelligent Pool's Kleen Machine: I bought a brand new model from Costco with a expense of about $350. It has smaller bag capacity and a shorter length of wire than Aquabot. Yet, quite often, the robot would clean only a small region. Lastly, I decided to return it back to Costco with its generous return policy. A couple of weeks later I tried it again by buying a refurbished model from eBay which expense about $300, but it could not be turned on from the beginning. When I checked Wise Pool's web page, I found that they don't make this model any longer. Thus, I asked the vendor to replace it with the following brand-new model.
three. Wise Pool NC71 Nitro Wall Scrubber Pool: It appears to be a model enhanced from Kleen Machine and utilizes fewer parts. It costs about $700s in about half of the price of Aquabot. Its positive aspects are: costless to run without having a require of water pump filtering fine particles and reduce pool filter loading super huge bag capacity (unsure if it is larger than Aquabot's) 60 feet extended wire two years warranty with much less moving components that seems to have longer durability and DIY serviceability by video for repairs and parts. The other distinguished advantage is it can scrub much improved than any other models for all almost vertical walls with a continuous transition of surface. Yet, it nonetheless cannot climb to actions with no continuous transition of surface (no reviewed model can do this).
I have utilised Nitro Wall Scrubber for about a month, and I like it very much given that it costs me less cash and devote fewer efforts to keep my pool. But, I am still unsure about its durability. Just in case it breaks, I hope the DIY video and parts may perhaps save me capital and will not price me an quantity of cash for getting a new one to repair it, such as the case of Aquabot.
I give it a rating of 5 stars based on about a single month's experience by comparing it to the other models I used like Polaris's. However, I will revise the rating if I locate it has any other unexpected trouble such as short durability, and so on.
Right after owning this unit for a month it operates and does a wonderful job of cleaning pool.
Specifically impressed with its wall climbing capability. Only unfavorable is it can get hung up on the four entry actions. I just sweep the actions initially and then lay the pool broom across them to avoid this issue.
