Customer Evaluations

I ordered this helicopter along with 3 other helicopters. 3 from Syma and one particular off brand helicopter. I ordered various helicopters for the reason that the only ones I have flown have been two channel and if a single broke I would have backup. I ordered the Syma S107 and S105 at the identical time, and the S107 arrived initially and the S105 arrived the next day. On my frist flight of the S107 I was suprised how stable and smooth the flight was. The box says 14 and up but I believe any one could manage this helicopter. It goes up, down, left, suitable, forward, and backwards, all at a balanced speed thats very good for indoor flight. It is not also slow to be boring or also quickly that you can't controll it. The trim button on the controller is fairly substantially not required due to the fact it does not spin out of control. I nonetheless havnt adjusted the trim following about 20 flights. Also, both Syma helicopters are Fairly durable since they are created of metal and tough plastic. The blades are also durable. There are some differences in the S107 and S105. The S105 is slightly wider and slightly longer. It also has two LED lights on every single side and a single in the front, a total of 6, which can be cool or annoying, it just depends on preference. The s107 has a single light on the front. The S105 seems to spin out far more than the S107 and is more difficult to trim. This is an apparent flaw that was addressed with the newer S107, considering that it does not spin out at all. They each can be charged with the controller or by way of a USB port on your personal computer which is superior if you don't want to waste your batteries on your controller. They both use 6 AA batteries in the controller. Each helicopters are really durable and have been crashed a few occasions. My only complaint with them is the flight time is only about 5 minutes, though I don't have something to compare it to mainly because the other two helicopters I ordered are nonetheless not here but right after about a week and a half. Also, the only option for shipping is standard shipping. General I would advocate the S107 over the S105 due to the fact of the trim issue with the S105, but both are outstanding helicopters and they are a quite very good value.

The Syma S107 is so hassle-free to manage that on my initially flight I had it tour my entire apartment, zooming in and out of closets and under no circumstances touching an obstacle until I deliberately landed it. If you've by no means flown a decent RC heli just before, you could require to practice a bit. It could possibly be your second or third flight before you get that beneficial.
The S107 is really that painless to manage.
I'm confident that several of you have played with Air Hogs and other micro helis and you lengthy for a small heli that just plain flies exactly where you want it to fly and stays up in the air. I am right here to tell you that such perfection is inside your grasp.
Ahead of I got my S107, I currently owned two Syma S105s and I under no circumstances get tired of flying them. They appear almost identical to the S107 and the remote is identical, but they take a small bit of skill to fly with precision and I've created small tweaks right here and there to get better manage.
The S107 takes virtually no skill to fly. They gyro makes it laughably uncomplicated to manage. Just use it indoors, get it about 4 feet off the ground so that ground-effects don't mess with it, fly it a decent distance from air conditioning vents and the thing moves like it is hanging from a string on a stick.
That perfection is, possibly, its one major flaw.
The issue is, I consider the S105 is a bit extra enjoyable to play with. The S105 wants careful trimming at the beginning of each and every flight. The S105 tends to make broad turns, but pulls out sharply, risking blade-strikes, unexpected changes in direction and the occasional crash. It's incredibly quick to fly the S105, but even so just about every time that I fly one I grow a great deal more skillful with it.
The S107 just plain functions. It goes where I point it.
I made one small transform to my S107, taping a paperclip to the front to support it move forward extra readily. That is the sum of all modifications that I created to mine. I can't discover something else to tweak. That's awesome. It really is incredible. It's a fun point to play with and the feeling of exhilaration endures even after a lot of flights.
I heartily recommend this heli.
...But if you want a related heli that's similarly fantastic yet introduces a smidgen of challenge to every single flight, give consideration to the S105 as nicely.

They each use 6 AA batteries in the controller. Both helicopters are tremendously durable and have been crashed many instances. My only complaint with them is the flight time is only around five minutes, even though I do not have something to compare it to since the other two helicopters I ordered are still not here but immediately after about a week and a half. Also, the only alternative for shipping is regular shipping. General I would advise the S107 more than the S105 given that of the trim concern with the S105, but each are wonderful helicopters and they are a highly very good price.

The Syma S107 is so simple and easy to manage that on my 1st flight I had it tour my whole apartment, zooming in and out of closets and never ever touching an obstacle till I deliberately landed it. If you have under no circumstances flown a superior RC heli just before, you may possibly want to practice a bit. It may be your second or third flight prior to you get that decent.
The S107 is honestly that very easy to manage.
I am confident that several of you have played with Air Hogs and other micro helis and you long for a tiny heli that just plain flies where you want it to fly and stays up in the air. I am here to tell you that such perfection is within your grasp.
Ahead of I got my S107, I already owned two Syma S105s and I in no way get tired of flying them. They appear pretty much identical to the S107 and the remote is identical, but they take a tiny bit of ability to fly with precision and I've produced tiny tweaks here and there to get better control.
The S107 takes practically no skill to fly. They gyro makes it laughably hassle-free to control. Just use it indoors, get it about four feet off the ground so that ground-effects don't mess with it, fly it a decent distance from air conditioning vents and the factor moves like it really is hanging from a string on a stick.
That perfection is, possibly, its one major flaw.
The issue is, I consider the S105 is a bit far more entertaining to play with. The S105 demands careful trimming at the beginning of each and every flight. The S105 tends to make broad turns, but pulls out sharply, risking blade-strikes, unexpected adjustments in direction and the occasional crash. It really is extremely simple to fly the S105, but even so every single time that I fly one particular I develop additional skillful with it.
The S107 just plain operates. It goes exactly where I point it.
I created a single small alter to my S107, taping a paperclip to the front to aid it move forward a great deal more effortlessly. That is the sum of all modifications that I produced to mine. I can't obtain something else to tweak. That is awesome. It really is stunning. It really is a enjoyable issue to play with and the feeling of exhilaration endures even just after a large number of flights.
I heartily recommend this heli.
...But if you want a related heli that is similarly incredible but introduces a smidgen of challenge to each and every flight, give consideration to the S105 as well.

Costumer Reviews

I ordered this helicopter along with 3 other helicopters. 3 from Syma and one off brand helicopter. I ordered multiple helicopters because the only ones I have flown have been 2 channel and if one broke I would have backup. I ordered the Syma S107 and S105 at the same time, and the S107 arrived first and the S105 arrived the next day. On my frist flight of the S107 I was suprised how stable and smooth the flight was. The box says 14 and up but I think anyone could control this helicopter. It goes up, down, left, right, forward, and backwards, all at a balanced speed thats good for indoor flight. It is not too slow to be boring or too fast that you can't controll it. The trim button on the controller is pretty much not needed because it does not spin out of control. I still havnt adjusted the trim after about 20 flights. Also, both Syma helicopters are VERY durable since they are made of metal and hard plastic. The blades are also durable. There are some differences in the S107 and S105. The S105 is slightly wider and slightly longer. It also has two LED lights on each side and one in the front, a total of 6, which can be cool or annoying, it just depends on preference. The s107 has a single light on the front. The S105 seems to spin out more than the S107 and is more difficult to trim. This is an obvious flaw that was addressed with the newer S107, because it does not spin out at all. They both can be charged with the controller or through a USB port on your computer which is good if you don't want to waste your batteries on your controller. They both use 6 AA batteries in the controller. Both helicopters are extremely durable and have been crashed several times. My only complaint with them is the flight time is only around 5 minutes, although I don't have anything to compare it to because the other 2 helicopters I ordered are still not here yet after about a week and a half. Also, the only option for shipping is standard shipping. Overall I would recommend the S107 over the S105 because of the trim issue with the S105, but both are excellent helicopters and they are a very good price.

The Syma S107 is so easy to control that on my first flight I had it tour my whole apartment, zooming in and out of closets and never touching an obstacle until I deliberately landed it. If you've never flown a good RC heli before, you might need to practice a bit. It might be your second or third flight before you get that good.

The S107 is really that easy to control.

I'm sure that many of you have played with Air Hogs and other micro helis and you long for a little heli that just plain flies where you want it to fly and stays up in the air. I'm here to tell you that such perfection is within your grasp.

The S107 takes almost no skill to fly. They gyro makes it laughably easy to control. That perfection is, perhaps, its one big flaw.

The thing is, I think the S105 is a bit more fun to play with. The S105 needs careful trimming at the beginning of each flight. The S105 tends to make broad turns, but pulls out sharply, risking blade-strikes, unexpected changes in direction and the occasional crash. It's incredibly easy to fly the S105, but even so every time that I fly one I grow more skillful with it.

The S107 just plain works. It goes where I point it.

I made one little change to my S107, taping a paperclip to the front to help it move forward more easily. That's the sum of all modifications that I made to mine. I can't find anything else to tweak. That's awesome. It's amazing. It's a fun thing to play with and the feeling of exhilaration endures even after many flights.

I heartily recommend this heli.

...But if you want a similar heli that's similarly amazing yet introduces a smidgen of challenge to each flight, consider the S105 as well.
